Reflections on 2021
This past year of 2021 was in many ways a continuation of 2020. Many of us are still having remote and virtual meetings, we are still wearing masks indoors, and people are still getting sick from Covid. However, we have been able to gather in larger groups with the help of vaccines and life has gotten busier again.
I started many projects in 2020 that have continued to flourish in 2021. My podcast, Seven Mile Chats, is finishing its 2nd season and will start a 3rd season in 2022.
Last year, I became a part of The Holy Ruckus and Live Today Well Collective writing and social media content teams. I continue to contribute content to both groups and also hope to continue that in 2022.
I also created and led presentations for many Virtual Retreats with Liturgy Training Publications in 2020 and 2021. My most recent appearance was Nov. 18, 2021 with reflections on Christ the King.
Through these projects, I have made many new friends and new opportunities have presented themselves. See my post from Spring 2021 for some of the podcasts and live streams I have gotten to be a part of.
2020-2021 have been challenging in many ways, but these last two years have also been fruitful. I am grateful for the ways that God has continued to shine through even some of the darkness. And I look forward to what seeds will be planted and what fruit will continue to be gathered in 2022.
Happy "New Year"!
Peace,
Julia
